Soybean expeller is a by-product widely used in animal nutrition; however, its stability during storage and transport has not been fully characterized. Residual oil and moisture may increase its susceptibility to oxidative and microbiological deterioration. This study evaluated the oxidative and microbiological stability of soybean expeller stored under simulated commercial conditions. Proximate composition and fatty acid profile were determined prior to storage. Samples were stored in polyethylene bags for 97 days at room temperature under natural light exposure and at 40 °C in darkness to simulate container transport. During storage, moisture content, free fatty acids, peroxide value, p-anisidine value, and total mold and yeast counts were monitored. No microbiological growth was detected. Oxidative indicators showed only minor changes and remained within acceptable ranges, indicating the good oxidative and microbiological stability of soybean expeller under the evaluated storage conditions.
